L J Hebblethwaite Ltd is a family run business based in Horsham.

The work in my garden is just coming to an end and I'm very pleased with the result.
I never had a total vision of what I wanted but Laurence took my thoughts, likes and dislikes and came up with ideas and recommendations. Those evolved as the garden came on and I was offered choices at all stages. Reading other reviews the same praises come up time and again but in addition to designing and building, Laurence is great at communicating, time keeping, organisation and choosing the plants. His team are also great. It was nice to be introduced to them all by name and I chatted to them on a daily basis.
They were all incredibly polite, friendly and hard working. I find that particularly impressive for the younger members of the team. As a result and as a way to thank them, I invited them all round for a beer and a bite to eat as the project came to a close, and will do so again next Spring/Summer.

Laurence and team have transformed our garden and we’re delighted.
Every member of the team was friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. It was a pleasure having them at our home. The whole process was made really simple for us. It was so well organised and we were always kept up to date with who to expect the next day and what they’d be working on.
The creativity and design means we have a garden we could never imagined with real quality through their attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Amazing job from start to finish, despite some very challenging weather combinations and an interesting shaped garden to work with.
Laurence and his team are very professional and hard working at all times and have a genuine passion for what they do. We were happy to let Laurence have free reign with his design, as we were certainly lacking our own ideas but we couldn't have been more pleased.
Excellent communication from day one, taking us through the plans of what they hoped to achieve each day, so that we always knew what was going on which meant we felt informed all the way through.
Any questions we had were answered clearly and even our indecision at times was handled in a very polite and understanding manner, bless them. It was an absolute pleasure to have the team here, a big huge thank you to you all (Laurence, Paul, Jesse, Toby, Lewis, Harry and Brendon) I really hope I haven't left anyone out??

Laurence and his team worked wonders on our garden, managing to fit the work in around their other projects within our very strict budget.
With three energetic children we were really struggling to use the garden as it was before. Removing two trees and installing a lovely bright porcelain patio instantly gave us so much more light and two fantastic, safe areas that look amazing.
Laurence and his team were so accommodating, kept us constantly updated and were so friendly and approachable at all times. It was a true pleasure to have them working with us and we would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a total transformation of their outside space with an collaborative and imaginative approach.

Laurence and his great team did our beautiful garden. Laurence listened to our ideas and he suggested to have also a beautiful pergola in our garden. He didn’t disappoint us! We can now enjoy our garden and we are very pleased with it. Laurence and his team( Paul, Kieran, Jess, Harry, Toby, Luis) are all polite and very hard working guys.
Laurence constantly updated us about the work. When we had questions to ask, Laurence was always approachable and explained us any concerns we had. I wanted to take the time to leave a review for Laurence and his team for anybody considering using him, as credit is more than due.
From the very start of the project, Laurence had great enthusiasm and passion for his work and the ‘project’ he was undertaking.
The only specification he had to work with from us in the beginning was ‘all we know is we want to make this a usable family garden’ and a budget, both objectives were solidly achieved (see before and after pictures below).
As the project evolved so did the vision, Laurence would suggest ideas to us and we would also see ideas online and together we developed the finished product.
We were updated on the progress every few days, what had been done and what was next to be done. The project ran almost clockwork to the initial specified timescale.
Laurences passion and enthusiasm continued throughout the entire project, no question from myself was disregarded and nothing was too much trouble. Of course this great work was as much attributed to Laurences great team as himself, they were all so polite, helpful, also willing to answer questions and were very respectful. With the level of diligence and attention to detail they all worked to, you would think that it was each and every one of his teams personal business. They were all a credit to Laurence and we had nothing but a stress free and well informed experience from start to finish. If you are considering having your garden redesigned and rebuilt I could not recommend Laurence and his team strongly enough.

If you are looking for a creative, punctual, personable, polite and super caring company that go the extra mile, then look no further than Lawrence and his team. We were recommended to Lawrence by Nyes Building Supplies and from the moment we met him, it was clear that we were in exceptionally good hands. Lawrence was happy to propose ideas for our garden without undermining our vision and knew exactly how to make the most of our tired looking garden, creating a fantastic modern outdoor area for the whole family. His team were exceptional and highly skilled in their work. They arrived promptly every morning and worked non stop all day long.
Communication was top class every single step of the way, along with clear explanations of what was happening each day and if changes had to be made for the better. Nothing was done without approval on both design and cost.
The garden that Lawrence and his team have created for us is stunning, everything we had hoped it would be and more. We would highly recommend Lawrence and his team to anyone looking to make the most of their garden whatever the size.
